 TRIALS NIGHT for 2008/09
Stanningley Albion Junior Football Club are holding a TRIALS NIGHT on WEDNESDAY 21st MAY from 6.00 - 7.30 pm at STANNINGLEY PARK.
For more information contact the relevant manager or simply turn up on the night in kit, shin pads & boots.

Stanningley Albion JFC provide a safe & enjoyable environment for local children to develop football skills, fitness, teamwork, respect & discipline.
Over 140 children now play for the Club, which was the first in Leeds to attain the F.A. charter standard award.
All our coaches & managers hold the F.A. level 1
Certificate in Coaching Football as a minimum requirement and have attended Emergency Aid & Child Protection courses.
The Club runs from The Parkfield Suite, off Richardshaw Lane, Stanningley. Teams train during the week at various locations and play on Sundays. Home games are played at Woodhall Sports Ground, Hough Top, Stanningley Park or Priesthorpe School.
 FESTIVAL OF FOOTBALL 2008
Stanningley Albion JFC's summer 6-a-side tournament will take place at Crawshaw School, Pudsey on SUNDAY 15th JUNE 2008.
Teams from the following age groups (2007/08) are invited to apply:- U7s,U10s,U11s,U12s,U13s and U14s.
The U8s & U9s are now full.

 NEW CLUB BADGE / PRESENTATION EVENINGS
Feedback for Dave Noonans idea of a new club logo has been very positive.
Players & parents had the chance to submit their own design by the end of January.
At the recent committee meeting two of the designs were recommended to be embroidered on Stanningley Albion shirts for one of them to be voted as the new Club logo.
It is hoped that all teams can vote at their respective upcoming presentation evenings which are as follows....
U7s, U8s & U9s - Friday 9th May
U10s, U11s & U12s – Friday 16th May
U13s, U14s, U17Reds & U17s – Saturday 17th May
 * UNDER 11s WIN CHALLENGE CUP *
On Sunday (20th April) the Under 11s won the Garforth League Challenge Cup with a magnificent 2-1 extra-time win over rivals Wortley Juniors.
Along the way the 'Eagles' have also beaten Beeston, Tingley, Seacroft, Calverley and Menston Juniors.
Well done to all involved.
 Under 14s WIN LEAGUE
The Under 14s (Tornados) have been confirmed as Craven, Aire & Wharfe league division 3 champions for 2007/08.
Congratulations to all involved in the success.
 U17s CUP FINALS
Having won the league, The U17s were narrowly beaten by Wortley U18s in the final of the Leeds & District FA Sunday Junior Cup. The scores were level at 2-2 after extra time but Wortley won 4-2 on penalties.
The U17s John Clay Final (Craven, Aire & Wharfe League) against Tyersal Park on Saturday 3rd May at Bradford City was abandoned after 78 minutes due to an incident off the pitch. Albion were leading 4-0 at the time with goals from Luke Hunter, Adam Jarrett, Adam Dutson & Jake Town.
 The Parkfield Suite
The Parkfield Suite is the home of Stanningley Albion JFC.
The hosts Brian and Wendy have kindly offered to provide free food e.g.'Sausage & Chips' for any players returning for a drink after a match on Sunday lunch-times.

She has the details of a young referee who needs experience to complete his qualification.
